Fast Radio Burst is the newest project of musician and music producer,  Mark Garner.

From many years singing in live bands across the region, and writing and producing under the guise of ‘One Thousand Dark Summers’ (featured on the Catherine Wheel Cover Compilation - 'Too Much is Not Enough'), Mark embarked on a second, larger project entitled ‘Her Dark Materials’.

With literally hundreds of tracks produced during this time, it was a meeting with one of his musical inspirations, Glenn Campling, (‘Tones on Tail’) backstage at the cavernous Brixton Academy, that elevated both his writing, production skills and experimental approach to music. Together they became 'LONESTATION'  - a fusion of electro, dub, indie, goth and dance.

Lonestation to date have 3 albums and further material in the pipeline, the latest release is Altered State - (available via the link to the Lonestation website) - on vinyl and digital download. Their Machine album also features Natacha Atlas - (from Transglobal Underground, Nitin Sawhney and Peter Gabriel)

Continuing as one half of ‘Lonestation’,  Mark is also working on Fast Radio Burst

- a project that once again strives to approach music and sound from a very different perspective.

With little attachment to any particular style, genre or cultural placement, the music is allowed to be expressive, dark, light, uptempo, downtempo, hints of ‘others’ sometimes, and sometimes, no definition

at all.

Mark is also an established Graphic Designer, having spent 17 years as an Art Director, running his own business for over a decade and now in the role of Asst. Professor of Graphic Design, in his 15th year of working in education.
